Current Opportunity

 

As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of contracts that underpin Senex’s operations. This is an opportunity to influence outcomes and ensure compliance with our standards and risk management strategies.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Leading the sourcing process: preparing sourcing packages, drafting documents, collaborating with business units, and evaluating bids
  • Preparing and formatting draft contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Developing concise ‘Contracts on a Page’ summaries for quick reference
  • Tracking and communicating key contract and tender milestones, including expiry dates
  • Monitoring and analysing contract expenditure to identify trends and opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate contract documentation and deliverables
  • Establishing and managing a suite of contracts from initiation to completion.

 

About You

 

You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders comes naturally to you, and you take pride in delivering results within agreed timeframes.

 

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Law, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract administration
  • IT software, hardware, Systems, SAAS, managed services contracts and procurement experience (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with ERP and/or contract management systems (highly desirable)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align contracts to organisational objectives
  • Proven analytical and commercial acumen with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (desirable).
