Role Introduction 

 

Senex is looking for a motivated Finance & Accounting Intern to join the Financial Planning & Analysis Team in our Brisbane CBD Head Office. The paid internship program will run from December 2025 to February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a university student looking to shape the future of energy. 

 

Your Team 

 

As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will join the Financial Planning & Analysis Team who are responsible for supporting the wider business through financial analysis, management performance reporting, and completing monthly financial reforecasts.  

 

You will support the team by: 

  • Assist in monthly reforecast and performance reporting cycle 

  • Assist in partnering with a business unit to identify actions to achieve business actions 

  • Develop financial models and reports using Microsoft Excel & PowerBi to provide insights to budget owners 

  • Other duties as required to support the Financial Planning & Analysis Team.

Senex are seeking applications from students within the Accounting & Finance disciplines with a key interest in commercial and/or management accounting and business partnering.
