Current Opportunity
Reporting to the EGM of the People & Culture team in Brisbane, the Organisational Development Manager will play a crucial part in enhancing employee capability, driving engagement, and aligning learning initiatives with business objectives. This is a fixed term position for 15 months.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Translating business requirements into effective organisational learning activities that deliver organisational capability solutions aligned to business objectives
- Partnering with senior leadership to align learning initiatives with strategic priorities
- Managing onboarding, mandatory training compliance, and talent development programs
- Driving cultural change and embedding leadership behaviours across Senex
- Managing training compliance and system implementation while coordinating project management efforts among various stakeholders
- Leading a team to ensure the successful delivery of L&D initiatives.
About You
You are agile, tenacious and thrive in an environment where you can take ownership and make a difference. Your proven OD experience will demonstrate your ability to deliver creative, compelling and business focused solutions.
You will have proven ability to manage key stakeholder relationships and use these to influence and implement effective organisation wide capability uplift and drive significant change.
Additionally, you will have:
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role ideally within the Oil & Gas or Resources industry
- Experience designing and delivering programs and initiatives that build workforce capability (including designing frameworks, running workshops, coaching, and other blended learning approaches).
- Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and the ability to translate feedback into action.
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field (desirable)
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate how OD and the broader People function add value
- Experience designing and implementing capability frameworks and skills matrices.
