Senior Communications Advisor
About us
Senex Energy is a Queensland natural gas producer focused on supplying the east coast domestic market.
Our Atlas and Roma North operations in the Surat Basin supply Australian manufacturers, energy retailers and households with reliable and secure energy under long-term contracts.
Our shareholders, POSCO International and Hancock Energy, have invested more than $1 billion to expand Senex’s operations, with first gas flow achieved in February 2025. The expansion increased our annual production capacity to meet approximately 10 per cent of east coast gas demand.
Our purpose is to deliver essential energy for life. The energy we provide is essential to our modern lives and for the thriving communities we serve. We are also a critical energy provider to Australia’s manufacturing industry, supporting thousands of workers who make essential goods. We are proud to play our part in the global energy transformation and the journey to a cleaner energy future.
Our head office is in Brisbane, with offices in Roma and Wandoan close to our operations.
Our culture
We care about creating a workplace where our team members feel valued, respected and empowered to make a real impact.

We value integrity and collaboration, and we are committed to delivering for our teammates, our customers, and the regional Queensland communities where we operate.
